Bill Lyle was an all-around cowboy from a non-traditional cowboy family. He didn't come from a ranching or rodeo family. Instead, he followed his own dreams of becoming a bull rider, bullfighter, rodeo clown, and stock contractor that all came true. For forty years he held rodeos at the Green Arena in Morgan Hill, CA. While also traveling all over the country riding and fighting at rodeos. Bill gave me knowledge, skills, encouragement, friendship, and memories that are priceless. I along with a community of people will be grateful for all that he has done for the rodeo community and will miss him dearly. His memory will continue to live on through all those that came through the Green Arena and will continue to pass on the knowledge and skills that he taught each one of us.
